DrinkCorner

Editorial demo. Not medical advice, and not a claim that alcohol has a benefit.

Drink Culture

Drink culture is local, and so are the rules

A global directory is only useful if it refuses to flatten India, the UAE, and the United States into one drinking age.

DrinkCorner's country pages exist because the same bottle is not the same legal object everywhere. The United States uses 21 as the purchase age. Japan uses 20. The UK and France generally use 18, with nuances this product does not try to automate. India does not have one national age. The UAE does not have one national retail regime.

That is why compliance data is a table with sentences, not a boolean called isLegal. Every card in this preview is DEMO. The sentence under each one asks you to verify it. The product will not give legal advice by becoming more confident in the copy.

Culture copy is kept short on purpose. A Mumbai page that explains Maharashtra is not 'India'. A Dubai page that sounds like a nightlife ad would be the wrong product, and it would be a compliance problem. Retailers in this demo are fictional sample desks so the city template can be reviewed without sending anyone to a fake liquor licence.

The commercial implication is the same shape as the legal one. Sponsored profiles, display ads, affiliates, and a data API are country switches, defaulting to review. A model that is ordinary in one market can be restricted in another. The business pages say that without pretending the switches have been cleared by counsel.
